Anne & Andrew – Ringwood Hall

By

Hi everyone,

We always really look forward to each wedding we shoot, after a week of portraits, editing and website work it’s lovely to know that most weekends we’ll be doing what we enjoy the most. Anne and Andrews Ringwood Hall wedding was cause for a little more anticipation than usual as it marked our 100th wedding in just under 2 years. 100 weddings is a great milestone to hit and it’s amazing to think we’ve been a part of that many couples big days!

On the morning of Easter Sunday we made our way south to the fantastic Ringwood Hall where Anne and the bridesmaids were getting ready upstairs as Andrew checked over final touches in the wedding breakfast suite. I always love Verity’s morning shots and she captured all of the excitement of hair, makeup and champagne perfectly. It was great to see how much the day meant to Andrew who double and triple checked all of the little details that can so easily be forgotten.

I’m always pleased to say that we always seem to get some of the nicest brides and grooms which makes our job even more enjoyable but when the  ushers and bridesmaids are as friendly and welcoming it gives us a real appreciation for being able to photograph weddings full time. Anne’s bridesmaids did a fantastic job of calming any bridal nerves on the day and it was obvious they are great friends – perfect for the job! Verity felt even more at home than usual when she noticed one of the bridesmaids Lomo camera’s and had a good talk about a shared love for vintage photography. I think it’s great when the best man is married, it gives them a real understanding of just what a groom needs. Andrew’s best man did a sterling job of co-ordinating guests for group shots, calming nerves and making sure the day ran perfectly. We’d like to thank all of the bridesmaids and ushers on the day for helping as much as you all did, it helped us immensely and we could see how much Anne and Andrew appreciated it.

After tears and toasts at the speeches we enjoyed the low light photography of the first dance, said our goodbyes and journeyed home. Despite the late finish we couldn’t help but pop the photos on the computer the same night to have a quick look at before the big edit. We’ve been looking forward to sending the photos since then and having sent the files to Anne and Andrew it’s great to know they like the shots as much as we do!

A huge thank you to Anne and Andrew for choosing us to capture their special day as our 100th wedding and a big thanks to all of the family and friends on the day who were so welcoming and helpful.

Thats all for now, hope you all are enjoying this amazing weather we are having!

- Chris
