Marie & Jonny’s Engagement Shoot
ByHi Everyone,
I hope everyone is keeping warm in yet another cold week for us! This winter never seems to be ending! In winter you obviously don’t get the lovely colours on the trees or the warmth of the sun, but we have loved doing so many engagement shoots and experimenting with the lighting conditions that January and February bring. A lot of couples like to have their engagement shoot in the opposite season to their wedding to give some variety to their photos, Chris and I really enjoy all the wonderful locations we get to visit and today I am sharing another engagement shoot from the weekend.
We met Jonny and Marie at Solberge Hall, their chosen venue for their upcoming wedding this year. It’s a beautiful venue and Chris and I are both excited after talking through some very creative photo opportunities with them. They chose Mount Grace Priory just down the road from Solberge for the location of their Engagement shoot. Mount Grace Priory is a ruin of a 14th century Carthusian priory and with the amazing sun beams that winter brings we loved the atmosphere of this shoot. Jonny and Marie are a lovely and enthusiastic couple and we can’t wait to shoot their day! Hope you all enjoy the photos!

These are really lovely! I love the shadows and back lighting while they are walking around the Abbey. You have excelled yourselves yet again.
